About me

I am an Associate Professor at Bordeaux University and a researcher in the BKB team at the LaBRI.

My primary research field is bioinformatics, with a particular focus on modeling and analyzing large-scale biological data, specifically omics data, which is characterized by its massive size and heterogeneity.

My research is centered around:

• the algorithmic aspects of analyzing genomic sequencing data,
• the modeling, analysis, and extraction of biological information from omics data, using machine learning and data mining approaches.

Between 2022 and 2026 I co-led the Systems and Data research department (composed of BKB, Progress and NeS teams), and since 2026 I co-lead the BKB team at the LaBRI.

I am also part of the head board of the Bordeaux Bioinformatics Masters as chair of the 2nd year of Masters, and I am in charge of the Computer Science Bachelor degree jury for the Bordeaux University.
